Seduced by its know-how and creativity, Cassiom entrusts its first Carte Blanche to Ludovic Roth. Ludovic Roth's Constellations, Data Constellation and Satellite , Satellite 2, Belier , Stellar are an opportunity for an encounter with himself: the designer thinks a sculpture and the artist imagines the functional object. For the first edition, he acts as a designer and visual artist and offers an inspired interpretation of the constellations, art objects in sepulchral black, abyssal white or metallic. The first of a series in the exploration phase, Ludovic Roth crosses a fine line between design, to give meaning to the object, and art, to plunge into the curiosity of forms. For him, the journey within the Cosmos is the ideal research space to demonstrate that the frontier lies within these narrow limits where the beauty of gesture reveals art to any object.

Ludovic Roth in a few words
Ludovic Roth, a graduate of the Ecole Bleue and the Marc Bloch University of Design and Applied Arts, has opted for a freelance career. In 2012, he joined forces with Erik Arlen to create Arro Studio. Together they also founded La Fabrique du Ski. As a freelance designer, he combines personal projects and collaborations, acting as industrial designer or artistic director. At the beginning of his career, he was notably project manager in the Mathieu Lehanneur and Fabrice Berrux agencies. He was awarded the international "l'Etoile de l'Observateur du Design" prize, awarded each year to the best achievements in design.

Data Constellation by Ludovic Roth

Ludovic Roth, founder of Arro Studio is above all an industrial designer. However, over time, a relationship was established and Ludovic became Cassiom's privileged interlocutor. This new form of collaboration has opened the field to a more personal creation. With the Carte Blanche, Ludovic chose to depart from Cassiom's own scientific brief to invent an abstract version of Data Sculpture; he gives shape to the Data Constellation using his favorite tools and materials.

Second field of exploration, the Satellite sculpture is perhaps a personalized and futuristic version of the Voyager 2 probe or an artistic reinterpretation of the parabolas of the plateau d'Albion ? Ludovic Roth asks new questions about the appropriation of disciplines, he clearly sets up an innovative creation by bringing science, art and design into dialogue.
