Optical Art and Constellation by Ludovic Roth
A series of drawings by Ludovic Roth, limited edition of 20, on fine art paper.
On the paper, the celestial coordinates draw kinetic shapes under the full and untied of a black felt pen.
Taking a group of neighbouring stars on the celestial sphere, each figure hides a symbol, an allegory, a conventional figure given one of the 12 names of the zodiac.
Everyone finds or loses himself there: the drawing erases or reveals the meaning in order to retain only the form.

Ludovic Roth in a few words
Ludovic Roth, a graduate of the Ecole Bleue and the Marc Bloch University of Design and Applied Arts, has opted for a freelance career. In 2012, he joined forces with Erik Arlen to create Arro Studio. Together they also founded La Fabrique du Ski. As a freelance designer, he combines personal projects and collaborations, acting as industrial designer or artistic director. At the beginning of his career, he was notably project manager in the Mathieu Lehanneur and Fabrice Berrux agencies. He was awarded the international "l'Etoile de l'Observateur du Design" prize, awarded each year to the best achievements in design.
